Air Travel - Paying Extra for Getting Off First
Air Travel - Paying Extra for Getting Off First - as part of the news series by GeoBeats. As soon as our flight lands, we just went to get out of that plane. A recent study by Airfarewatchdog.com found that 16% percent of survey participants would be ok with paying an additional fee to de-board a plane first. Although the majority was against paying anymore fees to the airlines, 10% would be willing to pay $10 dollars and 3% would pay as much as $20 dollars. Currently, many airlines offer passengers the ability to board first, so why not offer a quicker exit? While surprised by the survey results, Airfarewatchdog's creator says "They're willing to pay to board early and sit in those uncomfortable seats, so why wouldn't they pay for the reverse, to get out of those uncomfortable seats?' For some travelers, the advantage of getting off the plane first may be worth the money in order to catch a connecting flight. No air service is offering such an option, but it may not be far off considering some of the past standard services, such as free carry-on baggage and pet carriers now come for a fee and have helped to increase airline revenues by millions. How much would you be willing to pay to get off first?

Revolution in Air Travel
Fractional Seat Ownership FSO Welcome to MyJets, MyJets, Inc has developed a new air transportation model called FSO (Fractional Seat Ownership), a new concept which redefines the future of private air travel. The MyJets business model is unique and focused on saving time for a busy executive who needs to travel weekly between two locations that are within 500 miles of each other without having to charter a whole aircraft, buy a fractional ownership of a whole aircraft or be forced to fly on a commercial carrier. The price per flight is comparable to an airline ticket, and the Investment for the Fractional Ownership of the Seat and the monthly fee for management and maintenance are easily justified by the timesavings achieved. MyJets allows the executive who travels weekly to the same destination, the opportunity to buy a share on an airplane corresponding to his/her own seat. This is an inexpensive way to benefit from all the advantages of a private jet without the cost. The MyJets model has most of the cost and frequency advantages of the commercial airline, while having the comfort, security, and speed advantages of the private air charter. (Please read well this is fractional ownership) The target customer is the executive who does not live close to one of the 500 airports serviced by commercial airlines and who wastes hours driving to the airport, parking, checking in, going through security, getting a rental car and then driving to the destination. For example ...

10 Ways To Plan For Air Travel With Your Dog
www.CarrieAndJonathan.com 1. Do not fly your dog if he is in a high risk category Short-nosed breeds or dogs with heart or lung conditions should not fly. Neither should young puppies or elderly dogs. Ask your vet if you are unsure. 2. Get a pre-flight health certificate Get your dog checked up before you fly. Discuss natural stress-relief remedies and light sedation with your vet. 3. Try to get a direct flight Early morning or early evening is the best for the dog's comfort and safety. 4. Prepare the outside of your pooch's airline-approved crate. Draw special attention to the precious cargo inside. Type up your contact information and duct tape it on the crate. Use duct tape to attach a spare leash. 5. Make the inside of the crate as comfortable and familiar as possible. Line the inside of the crate with a kennel pad or other soft bedding. Place a shirt with your scent on it inside. Fill a durable toy with treats inside with the dog. Ensure there is a sturdy water dish inside. 6. Ensure a fresh water supply. The day before the flight, fill the water dish 2/3 full and freeze it. Take it with you to the airport to place in the crate right before you check the dog in. 7. Purchase a nylon safety collar. Never use a chain collar or any collar with hanging tags. These can get caught on the wire kennel door. 8. Acclimate your dog to the crate well before the flight. Give him a good long walk before the flight. Allow adequate time for him to eat a light meal, hydrate and ...
