Really stupid facts start at 3:25. In Victorian England, a commoner was not allowed to look directly at the Queen, due to a belief at the time that the poor had the ability to steal thoughts. Science now believes that less than 4% of poor people are able to do this. In 1862, Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing the slaves. Like everything he did, Lincoln freed the slaves while sleepwalking, and later had no memory of the event. In 1948, at the request of a dying boy, baseball legend Babe Ruth ate seventy-five hot dogs, then died of hot dog poisoning. William Shakespeare did not exist. His plays were masterminded in 1589 by Francis Bacon, who used a Ouija board to enslave play-writing ghosts. It is incorrectly noted that Thomas Edison invented 'push-ups' in 1878. Nikolai Tesla had in fact patented the activity three years earlier, under the name 'Tesla-cize.' Whales are twice as intelligent, and three times as delicious, as humans. The automobile brake was not invented until 1895. Before this, someone had to remain in the car at all times, driving in circles until passengers returned from their errands. Selecting the Right Size Pet Travel Crate.
How to Pick the Right Size of Dog Crate for Your Dog to Fly Measure your pet from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. Do not measure all the way to the tip of the tail. Measure your dog from the top of the head to the ground. Airlines require your dog be able to stand up and turn around freely within the confines of the crate. Also measure the width of your dog. Write down the measurements. 2 Determine the correct crate size. Crates range from small to giant. For dogs 16 inches long by 10 inches wide by 11 inches tall you need a size small crate. Dogs that are 18 inches long by 14 inches wide by 13 inches tall will need a junior size crate. If the dog is 21 inches long by 16 inches wide by 17 inches tall, you will need to purchase a medium size crate. For dogs 23 inches long by 20 inches wide by 21 inches tall you will need an intermediate size crate. If your dog is 29 inches long by 24 inches wide by 27 inches tall, you will need a large size crate. Purchase an extra-large size crate if your dog is 32 inches long by 26 inches wide by 29 inches tall. You will need a giant size crate if your dog measures 43 inches long by 31 inches wide by 34 inches tall. 3 Ensure that the crate is plenty large. If your dog's size is borderline between sizes, go with the larger of the two sizes. 4 Check for a sticker on the box that says the crate is IATA (International Air Transport Association) compliant. The airline will only allow you to use crates that meet their ...

Oceanic Biocube 14
My brand new Oceanic Biocube 14 freshwater aquarium. Currently the tank is cycling (fishless) but in the coming week four Gouramis (2 male, 2 female) will be added. This is only the second aquarium I've owned as I am new to the hobby. Obviously, all plants and "coral" are synthetic, but I hope to pull off either a planted freshwater or nano reef set-up in the future. Please don't hesitate to make any suggestions or comments regarding the aquarium, just be nice as I'm still "getting my feet wet" so to speak as far as owning and maintaining an aquarium. All products, plants, water supplements, etc. that I've used in my freshwater set-up can be seen below: Aquarium Make & Model: Oceanic BioCube 14 Aquarium Lighting: Stock Aquascape -- Aquarium Plants & Components: 1. Step 2: Learn the airline's procedure Learn about any specific rules or regulations from the airline. Check to see if they allow small pets in the cabin. Step 3: Get current health certificates and vaccination records Get copies of current health certificates and vaccination records from your veterinarian. Keep one copy with you, and one secured to your pet's crate. Tip: Don't sedate your dog unless your veterinarian tells you to.
